St Mary the Virgin, Newington – MEDIEVAL DOOM WALL PAINTING
The medieval wall painting of the Last Judgement (The Doom) on the east wall of the north chapel is believed to have been executed circa 1340AD.

St Mary the Virgin, Newington – THE QUIRE
The present quire is of early Transitional date, and was probably an extension of an early Norman church.

St Mary the Virgin, Newington – FONT WITH 16TH CENTURY FIXED OCTAGONAL COVER
The 13th century octagonal font is capped with a mid 16th century tall octagonal cover decorated by foliated baluster columns, strap work and perpendicular crown, and with access provided by two hinged panels.
