John Newman described this Grade 1 Listed church as, “A quaint combination of sweeping red-tiled roofs and the stump of a grey ragstone tower”. It had needed extensive repairs in the earlier part of last decade. These included both the stonework to the tower and retiling of the nave roof. FKC were keen to support the work and gave a grant of £30,000.
