This mediaeval church is situated in a rural hamlet and has much Victorian intervention of note. It is Grade 1 Listed. Its perpendicular west tower and stair turret were highlighted in a quinquennial as having concerns about structural stability and having parapets in very poor condition as well as water ingress resulting in wet rot taking hold. Repair work included complete dismantling and rebuilding of the stair turret. As a result the church had to be closed while work was undertaken. An expensive project to which FKC contributed £20,000 in 2018.
